Uncharted Waters: Toronto's Enignamic Harbour Exhibit Launch

Harbourfront Centre’s new outdoor large-scale photographic exhibition along Toronto’s waterfront opens this summer. Canada’s most talented and exciting contemporary visual artists participate in a photographic exploration of the spectacular environmental and cultural resource that is the city harbour of Toronto.

Dianne Davis, Johan Hallberg-Campbell, Jesse Louttit, Eamon Mac Mahon, Joanne Ratajczak and Clare Samuel represent the broadest range of photographic practice, and are recognized for their photo documentary, studio and series work activities. Each artist brings his or her own unique artistic approach to this enigmatic pairing of visual arts with a complex national asset.

My photograph and the story around my Lake Ontario Crossing are unveiled at Toronto's Harbourfront Centre and my family and I will be at this invitation only event Thursday evening, June 21. The exhibit will be there until June 2013, so if you get to Toronto's waterfront in the next year, look up my photo!!!

North Shore Runners/Swimmers Will Be Hosting A Yard Sale Fundraiser For Annaleise!

Saturday, June 23rd they will be hosting the yard sale beginning at 6 a.m. in Port Dover on Main Street as you head into town!!

Fundraising At The Cider Keg's Strawberry Festival in Vittoria, Ontario

Saturday, June 23rd I will also be at the Cider Keg from 12 to 3pm during their Strawberry Festival!!! Come by and enjoy their delicious strawberries and make a donation to Camp Trillium!!! I can't wait to see you there!!!

Thursday, July 5th is Annaleise's Radical Crossing's Fundraiser at what the Canadian Tourist Commission named one of it's top 48 tourist destinations. Come out and donate, buy some wristbands, and "Toss Your Change" to help me reach my fundraising goal for Camp Trillium !!!

Giant Tiger Grand Re-Opening In SIMCOE Celebration!!!

On Saturday, July 7th my friends at Simcoe's Giant Tiger will be re-opening there newly renovated store and are having a charity BBQ, with more of my friends from the Simcoe Firefighters doing the cooking, and the proceeds will be going to Camp Trillium through Annaleise's Radical Crossing! Come out and enjoy the festivities and I'll be there to give a helping hand!!!!

Annaleise's Radical Crossing Trial Swim

I'll be completing my required 16 km trial swim for Solo Swims of Ontario in Grimsby Sunday, July 15th.

Annaleise and her team have scheduled a media conference for Monday, July 16th at the Erie Beach Hotel (19 Walker Street, Port Dover, ON N0A 1N0) starting at 6pm to discuss the swim in detail.

What an honour to be the Parade Marshall at this year's Friendship Festival parade on Saturday, August 4th!! It will be so exciting!!

Special thanks to the Rotary Friendship Festival for providing me with a booth to have this super fundraiser! Already I have, or have been promised, items from the Toronto Maple Leafs, Erie Beach Hotel, Willies in Port Dover, Rob Blake, Cissy Peters, the Canadian National Exhibition in Toronto, and a few others. I'm sure this list will grow, I just need time to reach out to people in the community. So, keep this in mind for the first weekend in August and come by and see me only two weeks before the big swim!!!
